Jodi Halliburton

Jodi is currently working part-time as an LPN at Hillcrest Hospital on the Oncology/Palliative Med-Surg Inpatient Unit, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced, deeply meaningful specialty. In addition, she serves as a PRN LPN School Nurse Substitute for ESCWR, allowing her to support students across multiple schools in Lake and Geauga Counties. One of the most exciting parts of this role is the opportunity to return to Auburn Career Center as a substitute school nurse—coming full circle to the place where her nursing journey began.

As a new graduate, she feels fortunate to work in two very different nursing environments, each offering unique challenges, rewards, and opportunities to grow. And she’s loving every bit of it.

Outside of nursing, she stays busy as a dedicated mom of five children—ages 10, 12, 12, 14, and 15—who attend Riverside. With one daughter playing softball and another playing volleyball, she’s grateful to have a schedule that allows her to continue being actively involved in their lives and to make it to their events. It’s truly the perfect balance for a mom pursuing her nursing career as an adult learner.

Her journey is a testament to perseverance, passion, and the power of finding a career that fits both purpose and family.
